In TaxFileApp, you can always edit or delete the forms which are in In-Progress status. You can delete the In-Progress forms on two screens.
- 1099/W-2 Dashboard.
- Review & Select Service page.
1099/W-2 Dashboard:
Navigate to the 1099/W-2 option from the Dashboard. Select the Tax Year and the Business Name. In the left side, click the In-Progress Forms tab. All the In-progress forms related to the business will be displayed.
Under the Action column, click the three dots icon and select the option Delete.
A confirmation pop-up will be displayed. Click on “Yes, I want to Delete” to delete the In-Progress form for a particular recipient.
If you want to Bulk Delete all the In-Progress forms, click Bulk Action, and select Bulk Delete Forms.
Review & Select Service page:
In Review & select Services page, you can delete the In-Progress forms. Under the Action column, click the three dots icon and select the option Delete.
A confirmation pop-up will be displayed. Click on “Yes, I want to Delete” to delete the In-Progress form for a particular recipient.
If you want to Bulk Delete all the In-Progress forms, click Bulk Action, and select Bulk Delete Forms.
